Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) is the largest university in Greece and SE Europe founded in 1925 (about 80,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students currently study in AUTh). AUTh is widely recognized as a vibrant center of learning and research which draws its inspiration from a long tradition of academic achievement. It is a comprehensive institution with 41 Faculties and Schools covering all scientific fields, ranging from natural and technological to social and health sciences, arts, and humanities. AUTh has a strong international profile being actively involved in European and international networks.

Ceremony Hall AUTh (AUTH_CH)
The main Ceremony Hall of the Aristotle University is located in the main campus and it was designed by architects C. Fines and C. Papaioannou. The interior is decorated with a mosaic aic created by I. Kolefas that depicts the history of the city of Thessaloniki in a vivid way. All important events are held in the main Ceremony Hall of the Aristotle University such as graduation ceremonies, conferences, concerts, anniversary ceremonies, etc.

Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center (AUTH_DC)
The Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center was founded in 2006 and opened its doors for the first time in April 2011. The Conference Center has three ultra modern auditoriums, exhibition space of 300 sq.m. and public spaces ideal for hosting scientific conferences, symposiums and cultural events.

Faculty of Education (AUTH_T)
The Tower of the Faculty of Education is located on the central campus of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The construction of the imposing ten-storey building was completed in 2002 and it immediately became an emblematic landmark of the city of Thessaloniki’s skyline. The tower has spacious halls that are designed specifically to host academic conferences, book presentations, workshops and seminars.

University of Macedonia (UoM) comprises 8 Departments (with about 10.000 students) specializing in economic and social sciences. Now in its 7th decade of operation, UoM is developing into an extroverted, innovative, and bold academic institution whose priority is to deliver efficient teaching and research on clear and transparent quality -criteria. It is a well-organized institution, functional and environmentally-friendly, committed to the welfare of its -students, acknowledged by the local and the international community.

University of Macedonia (UOM)

Ioannis Vellidis Convention Centre is situated at the heart of the city centre, within the facilities of TIF HELEXPO SA, the national entity for organising exhibitions, congresses and cultural events in Greece. Its spaces can be modified and adapted so as to respond fully to the needs and requirements of any event. The center consists of six fully equipped halls that can host up to 2,100 people and multiple types events, including high profile international conferences. Its unique roof garden, designed according to a minimal transforming industrial aesthetic, can host receptions for up to 1,000 people. Nearby the scenic viewpoint of the Sκyline Cafe bar and OTE Tower, Vellidis Convention Center is guaranteed to cater the needs of every attendee.
