Route Description
Ioannis Vellidis Congress Centre (HELEXPO_CC) → Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH)
Exiting the Congress Centre (HELEXPO CC) you can turn right and enter the International Thessaloniki Fair premises on the YMCA Square. Passing by MOMUS- Museum of Contemporary Art, you walk straight up to Egnatia street, cross on the other side and you have reached the Ceremony Hall of ΑUTH (AUTH_CH).
Ioannis Vellidis Congress Centre (HELEXPO_CC) → University of Macedonia (UOM)
After you leave Congress Centre (HELEXPO CC) you will turn left and head towards 3is Septemvriou str. Follow the uphill road and when you reach Egnatia Street turn right and you will find University of Macedonia (UOM) on your right hand.
Route Description
Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH) → Ioannis Vellidis Congress Center (HELEXPO_CC)
After exiting Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH) you cross on the other side of the Egnatia street and enter the Thessaloniki Fair premises and go straight ahead. Once you reach the YMCA Square (after passing the MOMUS - Museum of Contemporary Art, you turn to your left on Leoforos Stratou str and you will have reached Ioannis Vellidis Congress Centre (HELEXPO_CC).
Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH) → University of Macedonia (UOM)
Leaving the Ceremony Hall you will turn left and follow Egnatia street. In about 700m you will find the University of Macedonia on your right hand.
Route Description
University of Macedonia (UOM) → Ioannis Vellidis Congress Center (HELEXPO_CC)
Exiting the University of Macedonia (UOM) you will turn left on Egnatia street. In about 100 meters you will reach 3is Septemvriou street, a central downhill road, and turn left. After 5 minutes you will have reached Leof. Stratou street in which you need to turn right. In about 1 minute walking your destination Ioannis Vellidis Congress Center (HELEXPOCC) will be on your right hand.
University of Macedonia (UOM) → Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH)
From the University of Macedonia (UOM) to the Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH) is just a 9-minute walk. After you exit the university you will turn left on to Egnatia Street and in about 700 meters you will have reached Ceremony Hall of AUTh (AUTH_CH) on your right hand. On your route to the Ceremony Halll you can easily see both the Research Dissemination Center (AUTH_DC) and the Tower of the Faculty of Education (AUTH_T): you can recognize the two venues by their notable architecture, a red square building with distinct windows (Research Dissemination Center) and a silver round shaped building (Faculty of Education) (see the maps below).
